If that starts happening, it’s unlikely to get messy. The question is, does the selloff get messy from here, or do we start to find a low? I personally think that while the Fed has its back against the wall, some (but not all) inflation reads will likely start to ease.
Indeed, it’s from points like this that real money is eventually made by long-term investors. This is the time to think about the future with greater investment confidence that things will improve, and to put cash to work in a gradual and planned manner. Especially watch for the chief financial officer.īear markets should be welcomed. This is usually a good indicator that the bottom is near. Wait for insiders to start buying on the open market.
